21 Days fasting & Prayer Manual

Glory Greetings!

I welcome you into 2017, your year of ever increasing glory! As we start this year by going on the mountain top, we will never come down in Jesus name! The mountain top is where Moses met with God, the mountain top is a place of encounters. This year you will have uncommon encounters that will establish your faith in Jesus name!

The fast begins today the 8th of January and we’re starting with thanksgiving. God has added to DECC family the Lagos church, so we give Him praise and we will keep growing and increasing in Jesus name!

I will be joining the Leeds Church daily in the morning sessions and some evening sessions. This is a corporate fast, God told me that this year we should not joke with spiritual things. I pray for grace upon you and your entire household to engage in this fast in Jesus name!

God has given us a lot of prophecies for 2017, one of them that I can’t forget is when He said to me, Ovie if 2016 was a year of great deaths then 2017 will be a year of senseless deaths! When I asked the Holy Spirit was this means He made me to understand that people will die without any cause of death and people will be killed and wasted by violence. We must pray for our Nation's and our families.

The prophecies for 2017 will be published, so that you can pray along and cancel the plans of the enemy and establish the glory of God for 2017.

Instructions for the fast

We start 6am-6pm
We will engage in the Miracle communion daily at 6pm service
We have two sessions daily 10am-12noon & 6pm-7pm
We are on an absolute fast, this means we don’t drink water or eat food from 6am -6pm
If you’re on medications or breastfeeding or have any challenges, please see your Pastor and they will be able to recommend something suitable for you, so that you can maximise this season
During this fast limit your social media time & television viewing time, spend time on spiritual things.
Join Us on Periscope, Fb Live Broadcast and do the work of an evangelist. Distribute fliers and evangelistic materials.

This fast is set to birth out your expectations into manifestations in Jesus name!

WE ENTER 2017 THANKSGIVING PART 1

Seven Thanksgiving Scriptures

Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Surely the righteous will give thanks to Your name; The upright will dwell in Your presence.

Why Are we Entering 2017 with Thanksgiving?

It is because we are not ungrateful people but thankful and appreciative people who know that God has shown us kindness for making us enter and crossover into this year of Ever Increasing Glory!

Many could not make it but God gave us access and for this we are grateful!!!

King David said in (1 Chronicles 16:8), that when we give thanks we proclaim what God has done, the meaning of this is that our thanksgiving is an official announcement to the whole world that we are here because of what God has done! We are declaring His greatness because Satan and all hell tried but our great God made us to prevail.

When we enter with thanksgiving it is a proof that we are rejoicing in the Lord
When we enter with thanksgiving it is a proof that we remember all He has been doing for us as individuals, families and a commission.
When we enter with thanksgiving, it is a proof that we want to dwell in His presence in 2017!!!

1. Oh Lord, I thank you for crossing us over into 2016.

2. Oh Lord, I thank you for all you have done in my life, my family and DECC.

3. Oh Lord, I thank you for your faithfulness towards me and my loved ones.

4. Oh Lord, I thank you for your mercies and kindness.

5. Oh Lord, I thank you for your love that fails not.

6.Oh Lord I thank you for giving angels charge over my life.

7.In Jesus name I thank you Lord for the law of exemption at work in my life and my loved ones

DAY 2

WE ENTER 2017 THANKSGIVING PART 2

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,

Let them give thanks to the LORD because of his mercy. He performed his miracles for Adam's descendants.

Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!

They confess to Jehovah His kindness, And His wonders to the sons of men,

Someone once said a thankful person is not ashamed to say thank you!They are never tired of appreciating kindness shown to them. We are very grateful to God and we will never stop saying thank you Lord.

The bible says we must confess the kindness of our God, this means we must not stop sharing the testimonies of his kindness towards us. To be quiet about the goodness of God is a sign that you are not extremely thankful.

God has been extravagantly good, we must give Him extravagant thanks for who He is!

Today is our second day of this 21 days fasting and prayers and we will say we are grateful to our God.

We are thankful for who He is good. Can you imagine if God was man? Many of us would have been dead by now.

Consider this and thank God for who He is!!!

God is good
God is faithful
God’s mercy endures forever
God’s Love for us is unfailing
God has done and will continue to do wonderful things in our lives , He is our miracle worker.

Prayer points

1. Oh Lord I confess with my mouth you are good in my life, Father I thank you

2. Your unfailing love has found me and made me whole Lord I thank you.

3. For what you have done in the time past and the greater things you are about to do in my life DECC, in 2017 Lord I give you all the glory in Jesus name.

5. Oh Lord we thank you for great and diverse miracles you have wrought in DECC globally in Jesus name

6. Oh Lord we thank you for you for you have jammed the wheels of every chariot that has been pursuing our lives in Jesus name

DAY 3

WE ENTER 2017 THANKSGIVING PART 3

O Give thanks unto the Lord for 2017

Psalm 136:1-9 (KJV)

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. 3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. 4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever. 7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: 8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: 9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:26 (NLT)

Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.

The psalmist is commanding us, when he says O give thanks. If you are reading or hearing this message now! I command you to give thanks.

Why is the psalmist commanding us? This is because there are many things that are trying to compel us not to be unthankful.

We must not start the new year with anxiety or worries. If you are worried about anything today, start thanking God for that thing now.

Whatever it is that is the situation or challenge that the enemy wants you to remember to stop your thanksgiving, let Satan know that God is too good to fail.

No matter what your story is, God loves to disappoint the devil because He has the final say. He will turn everything around for your good (Genesis 50:20).

Today, let us meditate on the mercy of God.

What is the mercy of God?

It is God having compassion on us!
It is God not giving us what we deserve, which is punishment!

So when we deserve to die God’s mercy says no! live!

We see that in Psalm 136, the psalmist is praising God for everything He has created and making us understand that everything is in alignment with the mercy of God upon us his children.

When you consider the creation and the creator, you will understand that God’s mercy is speaking in all that we see in the universe.

The sun cannot melt us up because of His mercies

The waters cannot overtake us because of His mercies

The moon and stars can’t destroy us because of His mercies

The earth is able to carry us all because of His mercies

We must appreciate God for His mercies today, no wonder the prophet Jeremiah said in Lamentation 3:22

“It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not”

What are we thankful For?

1 Chronicles 16:8

Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.

When a man isn’t thankful it is a sin
When we are thankful, God will give us a tankful of blessings

We have entered 2017, many didn’t make It !!!

We saw that a lot of people lost their lives before the we said Happy new year, we must not take our entrance into this year for granted at all.

God is set to bless Us and increase on on every side like never before!!!

The prayer of thanksgiving is very important, God deserves uninterrupted appreciation from our Lips for all He has done!!!

Psalm 109:30 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

I will fervently thank the LORD with my mouth; I will praise Him in the presence of many.

Today we are thanking God for DECC family, it is a corporate day of appreciation.

What are we thanking God for ? We are thanking God in three dimensions

For what He has done so far
For what He is doing now
For what He is about to do as we enter each day in 2017

A List of things to be thankful for in the commission

Thank God for Life
Thank God for His Covenant of preservation
Thank God for provisions (many ministries are struggling)
Thank God for rain of His word
Thank God for the testimonies that confirm His word in DECC
Thank God for the apostolic anointing at work in this commission
Thank God for the overflow of people to DECC
Thank God for unity amongst the workers and Departments in DECC
Thank God for our Pastors, Ordained Ministers, Shepherds, Heads of Departments, workers, every home church and departments
Thank God that there was no evil report, no incident or accident in DECC
Thank God for cancelling every evil report and confirming His word in our midst
Thank God for unusual strength, relentless tireless strength in DECC
Thank God because this year we will see greater things that bear witness to His Ever Increasing Glory
Thank God that you are a part of a commission with a great vision

DAY 4

EXPOSING ONE OF THE EVILS OF THE END TIME

2 Timothy 3:2 (KJV)

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

This evil is called unthankfulness!

It means to be ungrateful and to have an attitude of ingratitude.

What is ingratitude?

It is the discreditable lack of gratitude
It is lack of appreciation
It is the behaviour or attitudes that shows you're not grateful especially when other people think you should be grateful
It is the failure or refusal to acknowledge receipt of something good from another
It is insensitive to kindness or favours received (he I deserve it and it’s my right mentality).
It is to be forgetful of kindness or favours received

Don't forget when you have eaten and are full that someone prepared the meal!!!

Deuteronomy 8:11-15

11 Be careful! Otherwise, you will forget the Lord your God by failing to keep his commands, ordinances, and statutes that I’m commanding you this day. 12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you have built beautiful houses and lived in them, 13 when your cattle and oxen have multiplied, and when your silver and gold have increased, 14 then you will become arrogant. You’ll neglect the Lord your God, 15 who brought you out of the land of Egypt—from the house of slavery—and who led you through the vast and dangerous desert—that parched land without water—with its poisonous snakes and scorpions. He brought water out of solid rock for you

17 You may say to yourselves, ‘I have become wealthy by my own strength and by my own ability.’ 18 But remember the Lord your God, because he is the one who gives you the ability to produce wealth, in order to confirm his covenant that he promised by an oath to your ancestors, as is the case today.

This evil of unthankfulness has made many people return ill and evil for kindness or favours they have received
What we do to men, we also do to God!!!

Proverbs 17:13 (NIV)

Evil will never leave the house of one who pays back evil for good.

Anyone who repays good with evil has covenanted themselves with evil.
They are not permitted to see the goodness of God!
They will live with Mr & Mrs Evil for the rest of their Lives!
This is one of the reasons why they will never be blessed!

This was what happened to Nabal who refused to give refreshment to David after he watched his flock.

1 Samuel 25:21 (NLT)

David had just been saying, "A lot of good it did to help this fellow. We protected his flocks in the wilderness, and nothing he owned was lost or stolen. But he has repaid me evil for good.

Nabal died as a fool
He was plagued with premature death

What a waste of life, when we are ungrateful and unthankful.

Prayer points

1. Today I repent of every spirit of ingratitude, may the seed and hold of ingratitude be uprooted and broken off my life in Jesus name.

2. Every power that makes me forget the goodness of God in my life, your time is up be is destroyed in Jesus name.

3. You end time spirit, I am not your candidate be far from me and my generation in Jesus name.

4. Oh Lord, I look back and remember all you have done for me and I say thank you for all your marvellous works in my life.

5. Father, let the spirit of gratitude fill my heart and my lips this year and all the days of my life. May I live to have an attitude of thanksgiving in Jesus name.

DAY 5

PRAISE, AS WE LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR 2017

Ezra 3:11

They sang, praising and giving thanks to the LORD, saying, "For He is good, for His lovingkindness is upon Israel forever." And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the LORD because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

Isaiah 12:4 (NLT)

In that wonderful day you will sing: "Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is!

2017 is going to be a great year for the children of God but the world will see unexplained deaths and wars that makes no sense.

This year the prophetic word is “Ever Increasing Glory” We know that glory also means light. The world will be in total darkness but you will be the Light and you will not experience darkness but only Light.

We must lay the foundation of this year as the prophet Ezra did when he was laying the foundation of the temple with praise.

Praise is the only thing that can’t go wrong! We can pray wrongly but can never praise wrongly.
When we lay the foundation of this year with Praise we will see that 2017 will be filled with Joy because when we praise God joy is released
Singing is a depression killer and expeller. One of the greatest arrows that the enemy is using to fight people in this end time is the spell of depression but when we lay the foundation of the year with praise, every arrow of depression fired against you in 2017 will go back to sender.
When we lay the foundation of 2017 with praise announcing and declaring what God has done in the previous year, we will provoke Him to do wonderful things that will declare ever increasing glory
When we lay the foundation of 2017 with praise, we are establishing the covenant of increase because praise will cause our earth to yield its increase
When we lay the foundation of 2017 with praise we are telling all hell and satanic agents that they are defeated because our praise is a weapon and its judgement on the enemy and his kingdom. Just like David, we will never lose any battle in 2017.
We will fortify the year 2017 with solid praise and command supernatural interventions like never before, like paul and silas who experienced earthquakes and were released. God will intervene and we will see His Glory!!!
When we dance before our God, we are saying we’re your children, Like a child carry us in your arms of protection as a father.

Today we are going to practically praise God as we lay a foundation for 2017.

Prayer Points

Oh Lord let every contrary foundation in my life be redeemed by the blood of Jesus!
I lay a good foundation of praise for 2017, this foundation must stand in Jesus name!
Father let this foundation of praise swallow every satanic foundation laid against me in 2017 in Jesus name!
Oh Lord this year 2017, I command that my mouth shall be filled with your praise in Jesus name!
I declare that every arrow and spell of depression fired against me in 2017 is frustrated and sent back to sender in Jesus name!

DAY 6

SIX THINGS THAT PROVOKES ENCOUNTERS PART 1

As we have entered 2017, this is a year of Ever Increasing Glory! Whenever we encounter the glory of God there must be a change. This is a year of drastic turn around but we must provoke encounters!!!

To provoke means to incite
It is to stir up purposefully
It is to give raise
It is to cause to happen
It is to spring into action

What is a Divine Encounter?

It is to experience God
It is when Divinity happens to you
This is sudden meeting with God
It is when God shows Himself and proves Himself
A visitation from the Lord
It is a spiritual experience that changes your life forever

1. Prayer

Prayer is vital for encounters

How can a God you do not talk to visit you?

How can you be empowered by a God you are disconnected from?

No prayer, no visitation!

I gave us the dimension of prayers as it relates to our diplomatic assignment and office here on earth.

Jacob wrestled with God all night and left God’s presence changed

Genesis 32:26

I will not let you until you bless me”

That encounter made him a nation Israel.

That encounter established him and delivered him from wandering and running away to fulfillment of destiny!

2. Word

The word of God is God himself
The written, the spoken word is equally powerful!
The written always validates the spoken word!

God will never speak against what is written.

Isaiah 55:11

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Psalm 107:20

He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

Psalm 105: 18-20

18 They afflicted his feet with fetters, He himself was laid in irons; 19 Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him.

Meditation:This is the breaking down of the word! It is the spiritual digestion of the word!

Joshua 1:8

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

3. Service

We live in a time when everyone is so busy and have not time for kingdom service

Elisabeth and Zechariah were barren and stricken with age

Luke 1: 7-9

And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years. Now it happened that while he was performing his priestly service before God in the appointed order of his division, according to the custom of the priestly office, he was chosen by lot to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.

Job 36:11

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Prayer points

1.Oh Lord in this year of ever increasing glory I receive more grace to read and meditate upon your word in Jesus name.

2.Father let your word and deliver me from every form of affliction in Jesus name.

3.Oh Lord do not pass me by in this year of 2017,visit me,visit my family in Jesus name.

4.I receive the prophetic word for this year,I command its full manifestation in my life and loved ones and DECC global in Jesus name.

5.After the order of Elisabeth and Zechariah we receive the grace oh Lord as the church to serve you relentlessly,consistently and faithfully all the days of our lives in Jesus name.

DAY 7

SIX THINGS THAT PROVOKES DIVINE ENCOUNTER PART 2

When a man has an encounter with the Lord he can never forget it.

The reason why many of us are still unstable and floating in our faith is because we have not had an encounter that will define our walk with God.

This ministry DECC is born out of multiple encounters and this is the reason why I know that no devil can pull DECC down, it is too rugged to be messed with.

Jacob had an encounter and He said, God is here and I knew not (Genesis 28:16).

He had another encounter and He wrestled with the angel of the Lord till the breaking of the day, this was a very fireful deliverance that God was taking Him through. After the deliverance session, God changed His name and His hip was dislocated to settle him in canaan and stop him from moving like a nomad (Genesis 32:24-28).

We looked at three things that provokes a divine encounter yesterday and we will conclude with the remaining three points today.

4. Deep worship

What makes heaven, beautiful isn’t the location but the presence of God!

We have seen from scriptures that heaven is a place of uninterrupted worship

Revelation 4:9-11

Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever),the twenty-four elders fall down and worship the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever). And they lay their crowns before the throne and say,"You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased."

This is when Heaven kisses earth
worship that engages your spirit and you get totally soaked in his presence

5. Spiritual hunger & Fasting

How hungry are you for God
Instead of being hungry for the blessing be hungry for the blesser
Stop chasing the acts of God, chase the God who does these mighty deeds

Cornelius was fasting and praying

Acts 10:30, 30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

6. Giving

This is one area I practise
I tell you, a closed hand is a hand that can’t receive
Solomon gave an offering that smoked God from heaven

Acts 10:2, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.3. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

Judges 13:19-20

19 So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it upon the rock to the Lord. And He did a wondrous thing while Manoah and his wife looked on— 20 it happened as the flame went up toward heaven from the altar—the Angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar! When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.

What is on your altar of sacrifice?

Don’t get tired of giving, ensure your altar isn’t dry in this season as you position yourself for your encounter.
Prayer Points
1. Oh Lord I want to encounter you in a deeper dimension this year 2017 in Jesus name!
2. Father, I pray that the grace for giving will come upon me mightily in Jesus name!
3. Oh Lord I receive the grace to become a tireless worshiper in Jesus name!
4. Holy Spirit work in me and teach me to be a true worshiper in Jesus name!
5. Oh Lord I receive the grace to fast and pray for drastic encounters in Jesus name!

DAY 8

THE POTENT POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER

Matthew 17:21

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

What is Fasting?

It is a deliberate abstinence from food and drinks to get spiritual nourishment and concentrate on your spiritual life.

What is Prayer?

This is man giving God the Legal right and permission to interfere in earthly affairs

Mark 5:9-10

9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. 10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

Prayer is man giving heaven earthy license to influence earth
Prayer is a terrestrial license for celestial interference
Prayer is man exercising his legal authority on earth to invoke heaven’s influence on the planet

Every action taken by God in the earth realm requires the involvement of a human being.

To rescue humanity from the flood He needed a Noah
To create a Nation Israel, He needed Abraham
To lead the nation of Israel out of captivity, He sent a Moses
To defeat Jericho, God needed a Joshua

There are many challenges that will not go or give up except we engage in fasting and prayers. The disciples of Jesus couldn’t cast out the demon that was oppressing this young boy but when Jesus showed up, He delivered this boy and He made us understand that this kind will not go unless by fasting and prayer.

Many demonic situations and strong satanic resistance will not break until we engage in fasting and prayer!

Satanic ancestral altars will not be destroyed until we engage in fasting and prayer!

We move to a higher spiritual realm when we engage in fasting and prayer!

When we engage in fasting and prayer there is a spiritual focus shift that brings about the manifestations of the power of God!

When we engage in fasting and prayer it is a time to seek the Lord and be empowered by the Lord.

Fasting is feasting in the spirit
It is a time to feed your spirit man
When your spirit man is sharpened, you will be spiritually alert.
Fasting is like adding petrol into fire, when we add fasting to our prayer, it intensifies our prayer.

Many people are very nourished in the physical but malnourished in the spirit but not you in Jesus name. As you engage in fasting and prayer you shall receive spiritual strength!

Prayer points

1. I receive grace and strength to fast and pray aright, the last time I fasted and prayed amiss was the last time in Jesus name.

2. As I fast and pray this 21 days, let every stubborn issue that has plagued my destiny and life be destroyed in Jesus name.

3. Oh Lord, let my fasting and prayer be a time of spiritual feasting and nourishment to empower me for the year ahead in Jesus name.

4. In this season, make me spiritually alert that the devil can never take me unaware in Jesus name.

5. Let my fasting and prayer take me to a deeper spiritual dimension with you my Lord in Jesus name.

DAY 9

EVERY DIVINE INSTRUCTION IS FOR A DIVINE ELEVATION! PART 1

Christianity is a race, it is a very important race because the end will determine where you will spend eternity.

Paul makes us to know that the race has regulations and if they are not adhered to you will be disqualified.
Many people started well but did not finish well.
God wants you to start well and finish well

What is an instruction?

A statement that describes how to do something
An order or command
The action or process of teaching : the act of instructing someone

Every instruction from heaven is for your elevation

God does not waste His time.
God does not waste his words.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God

Your greatness is locked up in your divine instructions you follow
Our overtaking blessings is tied to our simple obedience

Four people that followed divine instructions

1. Genesis 12:1

The Lord said to Abram Leave your country,your people and your father ‘s household and go to the land I will show you.

Abraham was given a divine instruction

He followed and he was greatly blessed
He didn’t ask God questions like many of us do right now
He is called the father of faith because of his obedience
He is called a friend of God because he trusted God’s instructions and lived in obedience

God made Him very wealthy and He was blessed in every way!

Genesis 13:2

“Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold”

The grace of obedience that came upon Abraham is coming upon you now in Jesus name!

2. Noah

God commanded Noah "Build me an ark"

Genesis 6:22

Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he

Noah and His family were mocked but He followed divine instructions built the ark and was saved from the flood.

3. Moses

He built the first tabernacle and God reminded him several times to follow divine instructions.

Exodus 25:9

Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you.

Exodus 25:40

And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Whenever God gives us an instruction He expects us to follow it to the letter. It is like you hiring a painter to paint your house but the painter paints it in a different colour. Even though the painting has been done but because it was not done in your choice of colour, you will be unsatisfied. Many of us just think doing it is enough but God is interested on how you do it and if it is well done. I pray you will follow divine instructions very well.

4. Joshua

After Moses had died, Joshua could have done his own things but He still followed divine instructions. Many of us don't know that God uses his servants to speak to us. Even though every New Testament believer ought to hear God but many times God chooses to use His servants, just like He used Moses to instruct Joshua.

Joshua 11:15

As the LORD commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua did it; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses

Three people that did not follow divine instruction

1. Adam and Eve

This couple Adam and Eve did not follow divine instructions and lost their estate Eden as they were displaced and driven out of Eden. You will not be driven out of your divine estate.

Genesis 2:16-17

16The LORD God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die."

Genesis 3: 4-7

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

2. Achan

Achan took spoils of war even after God had told them not to take anything. He and his household were stoned to death.

Joshua 7:19-20

19 “Achan,” Joshua said, “the Lord God of Israel has decided that you are guilty. Is this true? Tell me what you did, and don’t try to hide anything.” 20 “It’s true,” Achan answered. “I sinned and disobeyed the Lord God of Israel

3. Saul

King Saul was God's choice for Israel but was rejected by a God because He did not follow divine instructions.

Anytime we disobey divine instructions, it is like the sin of witchcraft.

Anytime we are stubborn to the Holy Ghost, it is like iniquity and idolatry.

1 Samuel 16:3, 9,13,15, 22-23

3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
13 And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the Lord: I have performed the commandment of The Lord

15 And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Prayer points

1. In the name of Jesus, I repent of every spirit of rebellion and disobedience towards your instructions.

2. I command every spirit of pride, rebellion, stubbornness and idolatry be uprooted from my life by the power of Holy Ghost.

3. Oh Lord, I receive fresh grace to follow divine instruction after the order of Abraham in Jesus name.

4. I receive the spirit of urgency to complete every divine assignment in the name of Jesus.

5. Oh Lord, let me be focused on you and not derail from my calling or assignment. May I fulfil my calling and purpose here on earth in Jesus name.

DAY 10

EVERY DIVINE INSTRUCTION IS FOR A DIVINE ELEVATION! PART 2

John 8:51 (NLT)

I tell you the truth, anyone who obeys my teaching will never die!"

I have observed that no matter how far you travel in a wrong road, you will never arrive at the right destination.

Many of Us are asking God for the next instruction when you have not obeyed the first one, God will not speak to you until you do what He wants you to do.

Anytime we disobey God, we are doing what the devil loves, which is rebellion.
Often times we start the year with a resolution to obey God but soon forget as the year progresses.. This message is to remind us that disobedience to divine instructions is death but when we obey we are elevated and God is glorified.

Three people that did not follow divine instruction

1. Adam and Eve

This couple Adam and Eve did not follow divine instructions and lost their estate Eden as they were displaced and driven out of Eden. You will not be driven out of your divine estate.

Genesis 2:16-17

God gave man an instruction that must be obeyed but the serpent who is the devil, came to Eve and tempted her and she ate the fruit and gave to her husband Adam. Adam didn’t say no my wife we can’t eat this, he just ate it maybe because he was in love with his wife.
No matter how much you love anyone, never allow them to make you disobey God!!!

Genesis 3: 4-7

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

They ate and they were naked because the clothing of the glory of God departed from them and they had to use leaves to cover.

2. Achan

Achan in the camp brought disaster to the camp, three thousand men were destroyed in Ai because he disobeyed divine instruction.

Saul who was celebrated by God and anointed to be king over Israel was rejected by God. He was demoted because he disobeyed divine instructions.

This year, I am praying for you that you will not disobey divine instructions in Jesus name!

Prayer points

1. I repent of every spirit of disobedience, every wrong path I am on, Oh Lord reroute me back on track in Jesus name.

2. Right now by the power of the Holy Ghost, I destroy every yoke of rebellion and disobedience in my life and generation in Jesus name.

3. Every power on assignment that wants to waste my destiny, you are a liar; I cannot be wasted in Jesus name.

4. Every power on assignment to displace me from my assignment, your plans are terminated, I cannot be displaced or replaced, I will fulfill my days in Jesus name.

5. This year and all the days of my life, let my service be worthy, holy and acceptable unto you in Jesus name

DAY 11

TRANSFIGURATION, A GLORIOUS CHANGE

Mark 9:2-10

2 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. 4 And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. 5 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”— 6 because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid.7 And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” 8 Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves. 9 Now as they came down from the mountain, He commanded them that they should tell no one the things they had seen, till the Son of Man had risen from the dead. 10 So they kept this word to themselves, questioning what the rising from the dead meant.

What is Transfiguration?

It is a complete change of form or appearance into a more beautiful or spiritual state.

It is a marked change of appearance; a metamorphosis
It is a new glorious outward transformation

It is an exalting, glorifying or spiritual change.

As we have entered 2017, the year of Ever Increasing glory, this is what God is saying.

God is saying that every form of deformity would leave you because deformity is not a beautiful state in Jesus name
God is saying that any Challenge you’ve been through that has changed you will be reversed, you will not receive negative change but a glorious change
God is saying that you will be changing levels spiritually but to a higher level no longer will you go down in your spiritual fire in Jesus name!

When Peter encountered the transfiguration, he was overwhelmed. He said it is good that we stay here. The reason why He said this is because until you encounter the presence of God, you will never know how sweet it is!

Psalm 34:8 (NLT)

“Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!”

This was the same experience that Moses had that made him stay in the mountain for forty days. He was in the Glory, the manifested presence of God. Moses entered the cloud, I like the translation that says He disappeared into the cloud, wow!

Exodus 24:18 (NLT)

Then Moses disappeared into the cloud as he climbed higher up the mountain. He remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

The meaning of disappear here means that Moses was not visible anymore, it was the cloud that was seen.
The meaning of disappear means that Moses (his will, flesh and agenda) ceased to exist and the cloud took over, the glory took over!

We know that the cloud is the Glory of God, the manifested presence of God!

I prophesy that you will not be seen in 2017, the Glory will be seen!

I prophesy that you will cease to exist but the Glory will take over

This changed Moses appearance, His face shined, they had to put a veil on his face to cover it up.

What to do to experience a Transfiguration?

Jesus went to the mountain to pray and when they prayed they had an encounter.

Until we pray we cannot experience the deeper dimension of God that we are longing for. There are so many distractions that can keep us away from the place of prayer but Jesus decided to deal with every distractions by going to the mountains.

This year God is calling you to the mountain top living
This is a year that God is saying Come up higher
It is a year to shut in with the Lord and shut out the crowd
It is a year to enter His presence and be alone with Him
God is saying this is a year of Prayer, the best way to know how to pray is to pray
God is saying not everyone can go up with you to the mountain, this year be mindful that you connect with mountain dwellers

Prayer points

1. In my place of transfiguration let every deformity in my life be reformed in Jesus name.

2. In my place of transfiguration, let every challenge be resolved and become a testimony in Jesus name.

3. This year of Ever-Increasing Glory, may the glory of the lord be seen in my life in Jesus name.

4. This year, may I go deeper with you and I walk farther with you in the name of Jesus.

5. This year, may the mountain top living be my portion in the name of Jesus.

DAY 12

THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS OUR GREATEST ASSET

Exodus 33:14-16

14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

We ought to carry the presence of God daily because God’s presence is everywhere.
God is omnipresent, this means that He is everywhere at the same time.

Psalm 139:7-8

7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

We’re the carriers of the presence of God in this world.

Moses said, We will not go from here, if you presence doesn’t go with us , he knew that the presence of God is his confidence.

I declare that, this year we will not move without the presence of God in Jesus name!

The children of Israel had the presence of God and It separated them from everyone upon the Face of the earth. God’s presence will separate you this year from everyone upon the face of the earth

What is the Presence of God?

This is the fact that God is in a place
This is the knowing that God is somewhere
It is the appearance of God
It is God showing Up

God can be in a place and we don’t know it like Jacob, many people are not aware of the Presence of God

Genesis 28:16 (NLT)

“Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I wasn't even aware of it!"

This year you will be conscious of His presence and never miss your moments of visitations in Jesus name!

In the new testament the presence of the Lord is manifested in the Person of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Jesus promised us that He will always be with Us!

Matthew 28:20

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

We’re the ark of the Lord, the temple where the Holy Spirit dwells. Do you know that this is a great privilege?

1 Corinthians.3:6 (NLT)

Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

When the presence of God is manifested, His Glory is revealed.

Wherever the glory is there will be supernatural encounters.

Child of God, value the presence of God, treasure it because it is the greatest asset that we have.

When we have the blessed presence of the Lord in us and with Us, it's indicative that we’re favoured by God, that we have received grace in his sight.
It is the presence of God that separates us from the rest of the world, we’re separated as God’s chosen people. It makes the tangible and visible difference, that can’t be denied.

I am praying for you this year, that you will be a carrier of God’s presence in Jesus name!!!

You will be conscious of His tangible presence in Jesus name!!!

Prayer points

1. Father, May I dwell and be led by your presence all the days of my life in Jesus name.

2. Oh Lord, may I be conscious of the tangibility of your presence.

3. Oh Lord, may your presence separate me from worldliness.

4. Oh Lord, may your presence differentiate me from the world and set me on a hill that cannot be hid.

5. Oh Lord, may I be a carrier of your presence this year and all the days of my life in Jesus name.

DAY 13

THE LIGHT OF MY CHARACTER MUST SHINE!

Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Christianity is not a religion, it is not just a lifestyle, it is a relationship that defines everything about our lives.

Character is very important because it is what defines you and what people see you as.

Christianity without good works is an error and a lie.

What is Character?

Character refers to the sum of the characteristics possessed by a person. especially to the moral qualities and ethical standards that make up the inner nature of a person
It is a moral force; integrity that a man possess
It is the qualities of honesty, fortitude, integrity etc
It is the reputation of a man, especially a good reputation
Character is the fruit of the spirit manifested in our lives daily

The world must see Christ in us, we can’t be like the world. There must be a difference between the Christian who is the light and darkness the unbelievers.

We must reflect and radiate Jesus Christ in our Character.

Our Character must be evangelical, the meaning of this is that our character should point people to Christ Jesus.

Many people who are professing Jesus with their mouths but not with their lives because they’re not living for Christ.

The bible says by their fruits, you shall know them.

The believer is known by the fruit of their character not by what they says or the church they attends.

John 15:8 (NLT)

When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

Jesus says that when we produce much fruit, it is an indication that we are his disciples.
The fruits that we produce will bring great glory to the father

1 Peter 2:12 (NLT)

Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.

Peter warns us to live properly among pagans, the unsaved and in the world at large, so that they will see our honourable behaviour.

The honourable behaviour is the character of a believer, which will bring glory and honour to Our God.

This year you must be a man/ woman of integrity
This year you must walk in the spirit and manifest Christ in you!!!

You can be very anointed but lack character. Charisma can take you places but character will keep you there.

Prayer points

1. Every character in me that doesn’t glorify the name of the Lord, what are you wanting for me be expelled by fire in Jesus name..

2. Lord, your word is like hammer, let it mould and refine your godly character in me in Jesus name.

3. This year I must be a man/woman of integrity in name of Jesus

4. This year I must walk in the spirit and manifest Christ in me in the name of Jesus.

5. This year my life and character must bring glory to God and the kingdom as a true ambassador of your word.

DAY 14

PLANTED TO FLOURISH

Psalm 92:13-14 (KJV)

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

There are many believers who are not planted in a local church and they think it is okay. We live in a generation where many people are now online church members and they tithe to a television ministry. This is an error, we must all have a local church and a shepherd over us.

The word of God says when we’re planted in the House of God, which is a local church, you will flourish in the courts of the Lord.

It is in the courts that we testify and praise God for His goodness, this is literally saying that you will never cease testifying because you will be fruitful on every side and your fruitfulness will not cease.

To be planted is to be established and committed in the House of God!

Reasons why many don’t have a local church

1. There are many fake pastors

Jeremiah 3:15

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding”

God is saying He will give you a shepherd, it is the duty of your shepherd to feed you with knowledge and understanding.

We know that there are many shepherd who are slaughtering the sheep instead of feeding them but God says you will not be a prey because there is a remnant.

You must locate you shepherd because it is your shepherd that carries the food you need.

2. I don’t want to be told what to do

I have read many people saying that to be guided by your shepherd is manipulative and domineering, but this is a lie from the pit of hell.

We must never get too big for corrections.

We must count it a privilege to be given godly counsel because in the multitudes of counsels there is safety (Proverbs 15:22).

If you consider yourself a sheep and your pastor as your shepherd, then you must know that a shepherd leads the sheep in the paths of righteousness.

There are many godly counsels I have given to many people that they ignored and some of them left our local church because they didn’t want to be told what to do.

I remember a sister came to me that she wanted to get married to a certain man and she came to introduce the young man to me, when I saw this young man the spirit of God told me, he wasn’t born again and that he was a fraudster and was going to go to jail in the UK. I called the sister for a chat and I told her what the Lord told me but she got angry and left the church. She later married the guy and few months later, the man was arrested and he is serving his time in the prison. What a shame!!!

3. I don’t want to be committed

Many people prefer to be visitors to a church and not planted because they want to free from commitments because if you’re planted you’re committed to your local church, you’re a member and you serve as the Lord leds in the house. They say they’re too busy. Do you realise that we still find time to do other things?

Your commitment is a proof of your faithfulness to God. When you’re connected the Unction that is at work in the House. When you refuse to be committed you’re cheating yourself out of the blessings of God in the House.

Your commitment is your connection to every prophetic word that is declared.

4. I have been wounded by church people

I have seen many offended people and when they come to church they are very skeptical and many because of what they’ve suffered in church can’t be planted in a local church but this is a trick of the devil.

If you have been wounded, God can heal your wounds if you allow him to, whatever you have been through in church from pastors, leaders and other fellow believers must not stop you from being planted.

If you’re still bitter, you will remain battered, but when you let God deliver you from your bitterness, you will be better in Jesus name!!!

There is no perfect local church, we are all sick people seeking the great physician, we’re imperfect people seeking the grace of God that makes us perfect in Him.

5. I have a ministry gift

I have seen many pastors without a flock, many prophets without a prophet over them, many Evangelist without a pastor, many teachers without a mantle, this is the error of our generation. Many titles, no mantle and no submission.

If God has called you into the ministry or you have a powerful gift of the Holy Spirit and you don’t have a local church then you’re a nomadic minister that must be avoided, you’re in error.

Everyone must be accountable to someone, it is necessary for godly guidance, so that you don’t go off course.

Elisha had an Elijah
Joshua had a Moses
Timothy had a Paul

Who do you have over you? Don’t be a spiritual bastard.

I prophesy over you that this year, God will plant you in His house and you will see evidences of being established in his house.

Prayer points

1. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I come against any power that wants to uproot me from my place of spiritual planting in the name of Jesus.

2. Oh Lord heal me, in anyway I have been hurt that the devil is using to lay hold of my life in Jesus name.

3. Oh Lord, I receive fresh grace to be committed to you in Jesus name.

4. Oh Lord, plant and establish me in your house, no devil can uproot me in Jesus name.

5. Oh Lord, let my gift establish me in your house in the name of Jesus.

DAY 15

AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE MERCY OF GOD PART 1

Psalm 102:13 (NIV)

13 You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favour to her; the appointed time has come.

(NKJV), 13 You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.

The mercy of God is beyond human comprehension.
Its of the mercies of God we are not consumed.
The mercy of God and the grace of God works together!
Mercy clears the road and Grace brings the Fullness of God!

What is the Mercy of God: It is God having compassion on Us!

What is the mercy of God: It is God not giving us what we deserve, which is punishment!

I deserve to die but Mercy says No! Live!

What is the mercy of God: It is God having pity on Us!

Mercy lifts up the burden of sin and the consequences of Sin!

What is Mercy: It is the Loving kindness of God towards His children!

"The mercy of God can make God change his mind"

The mercy of God is called "God's wild card"

No man can question it !!!

Four people that received the unquestionable mercy of God

Nineveh

God showed Nineveh mercy even after Jonah had prophesied their Judgement.

Jonah 3:10

“And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

This made Jonah very angry because He was seen as a prophet of doom whose prophecy never came to pass.

Hezekiah

Prophet Isaiah came to Him to tell him that he was going to die that He should put hIs house together but he faced the wall and prayed to the Lord and He was given 15 more years to live.

Isaiah 38:5

“Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years”

Ruth

This woman was a widow and a moabitess who didn’t have a right by law to marry a Jew, the moabites are a cursed people and the enemies of Israel but God showed her mercy and out of her lions came David and even Jesus our saviour.

David

King David is a man that personifies the mercy of God! He received unquestionable mercy severally, but one that stood out was when he ate the showbread that he wasn’t supposed to eat but nothing happened to him.

Matthew 12:4

“He went into the house of God, and he and his companions broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat.”

We all need the mercy of God!

Our key verse: I will arise and have mercy upon Zion, for the set time ye the set time to favour her has come!

As we are fasting we declare that this is our time of visitation, we meet with mercy in every area of our lives in Jesus name!!!

Zion is you and I, every believer is Zion.

Zion has been living in disfavour but not any more
Zion was living a life that was full of troubles but not in 2017
Zion was living a life of stagnation but not any more

We are encountering the mercy of God that will turn things around!!!

AN ENCOUNTER WITH MERCY OF GOD PART 2

This year we all need a continuous mercy encounter in our lives!

The mercy of God will ensure our ever increasing glory this year!

Seven Encounters with Mercy

1. The weak

When the bones are troubled
When your strength has failed you

Psalm 6:2

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are troubled.

2.The man in trouble

In a helpless situation
When you’re overwhelmed by challenges
When you don’t know what to do

Psalm 31:9

Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

3. The paralytic man

Locked
Immobility

2 Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. The enemy had put his destiny in detention

He received the mercy of God for revelation and opening of spiritual eyes

THE BASIC OPERATIONS OF THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY

Romans 12:6-8

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

God wants us all to operate in a level of the prophetic. The prophetic ministry is one of the most misunderstood and because we don’t understand it, it is the most abused gift.
Many Christians don’t know how God speaks, so they begin to look for any man or woman who says they hear from God even if they’re hearing from demons, all people are interested in is what do you see?

When God speaks to Us, He does this in two ways

Audial messages

These are messages that we receive by hearing words

Visual Messages

These are messages we receive by seeing

These can be pictures
These can be visions

They can be received as open visions while you’re awake or in a dream of the night.

The word seer means someone who sees. The seer receives visual messages.

Prophetic people often receive audio and visual messages but one of one ways become more frequent as you grow up in the prophetic.

The bible says every gift we have is given to us by the grace of God and we must prophesy according to the proportion of our faith.

As we grow in faith, so we grow in the prophetic gift
This year, God wants you to grow in the prophetic and I see you growing in faith in Jesus name!

Paul says we all must desire spiritual gifts but especially the gift of prophesy.(1Cor.14:1)

DECC is a prophetic church and so we are called to raise a prophetic people.

We all can prophesy doesn’t mean we all are prophets, just like we all can drive but that doesn’t make us drivers.Some of Us are called into the office of prophet.

Five common operations of the prophetic

1. Dreams

Dreams enrich your life by giving encouragement, direction, insight for intercession, and revelation. I get much of my personal prophetic revelation through pictures rather than words, yet I also get many spiritual dreams and visions. Unless you hold the office of a prophet, most dreams are likely for your personal benefit.

Job 33:14-16

14 For God may speak in one way, or in another,Yet man does not perceive it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night,When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds,16 Then He opens the ears of men,And seals their instruction.

God told Miriam and Aaron that “If there be a prophet amongst you, I speak to them through dreams and visions”

Prophetic dreams are night visions

2. Prophetic exhortations

It is to motivate and encourage us into maturity.

This is to bring out all that is in you and position you to be on track for the Lord.

When you receive a prophetic exaltation, you’re revived and set on fire to be all that God wants you to be.

Isaiah 30:18 (NKJV)

18 Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.For the Lord is a God of justice;Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

3. Prophetic prayers

This is prayers that are prayed as inspired by the Lord, He reveals to us what He would have us to pray.

In order to pray this way we must posture ourselves to hear from Him.

Luke 1:67-69 (NKJV)

67 Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying:

68 “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,For He has visited and redeemed His people,

69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,

This is when the holy spirit gives you revelation and you pray with it
This is when you pray by deep spiritual insight and speak the mind of God concerning a situation.

4. Prophetic visions

Visions would include things like open visions, audible messages, angelic encounters, open heavens, trances, being caught up in the Spirit, and heavenly visitations

Acts 16:9-10 (NKJV)

9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.

5. Prophetic actions

These are actions that a done by a prophet to convey a message or to bring about a divine intervention.

Prophetic actions can sound foolish but they convey deep spiritual meaning and communicate to the physical what’s in the spirit

Acts 21:10-11

10 And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

Prophet Agabus tied himself to demonstrate what will happen to the owner of the belt.

Prayer points

1. Father I want to operate in the Prophetic, this year I want to hear from you, Let the portals be opened to me in Jesus name!

2. Father open my spiritual eyes and ears in Jesus name!

3. Oh Lord give me utterance to pray prophetically in Jesus name!

4. Oh Lord I command my dream gates to be opened for prophetic dreams and close my dream gates to demonic spirits in Jesus name!

5. Oh Lord sharpen my sensitivity in the spirit in Jesus name!

AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE MERCY OF GOD PART 3

Six keys to Encountering the mercy of God

Psalm 78:38 (NLT)

Yet he was merciful and forgave their sins and did not destroy them all. Many times he held back his anger and did not unleash his fury!

1. Ask

We must ask to receive, this is a kingdom principle

Matthew.7:7

"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you”

We ask on the platform of repentance

We ask boldly (Hebrews 4:16)

2. Cry for it

The desperation dimension is very important, blind Bartimus was so desperate, he had to cry aloud for mercy from the Lord Jesus.

Luke 18:38

And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

3. Humility

We must be humble and not come before God with pride like the pharisee.

Luke 18:11-14

11 The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.' 13 "But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.' 14 "I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

4. Be a mercy giver

If we want mercy then we must give mercy. It is what you sow, you receive.

Forgive and let go of those who have wronged you.

Matthew 5:7

"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy"

5. Kingdom servant /service

Become a servant in the house of God. Engage yourself in the service of the kingdom.

Deuteronomy 32:36

"Indeed, the LORD will give justice to his people, and he will change his mind about his servants, when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free

6. The blood of Jesus

The blood of Jesus is a key to receiving the mercy of God. When we plead and engage the blood, it is a speaking blood that speaks for mercy on our behalf.

Hebrews 12:24

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel

What do I do after I have encountered the mercy of God?

Many people after receiving the mercy of God, forget and don’t even appreciate God.

This year we must be different! If you don’t appreciate God anytime you receive his mercies, you’re cutting short your Joy.

Jesus asked for the nine when only one leper came to thank him, you will never be among the nine in Jesus name!

We must also testify about it. We cannot over emphasise the importance of testifying about the mercies of God.

Mark 5:19

“Jesus did not let him, but said, ‘Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

Prayer Points

1. Father I appreciate you for your mercies I have received from the day I was conceived, thank you Lord in Jesus name!

2. Oh Lord , I thank you for your mercy in my Life in Jesus name!

3. Father I cry for your mercy in 2017, let me never lack your mercy in Jesus name!

4. My father, My father, every pride that wants to rob me of your mercies is expelled out of my Life now in Jesus name!

5. Oh Blood of Jesus speak mercy for me all year round in Jesus name!

DAY 19

NO MORE LACK IN 2017

Leviticus 26:5 (ESV)

Your threshing shall last to the time of the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall last to the time for sowing. And you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land securely.

Lack is not your portion in 2017, this year of ever increasing glory, you will see the God of more than enough.

What is lack?

It is the state of being without or not having enough of something.
It is a season of scarcity
It is to be short or have need of something

When we study the scriptures we see that everyone that served God faithfully never had any reason to lack anything. They had more than enough, they lived in permanent seasons of surplus.

We are called to overflow with abundance and not to lack anything.

The Glory of God is not seen when we are struggling in our finances but the glory is seen when we have all our needs meant and we can also become helpers to give to those in need.

The Abrahamic blessing is God blessing you and making you a blessing.

When you have God as your shepherd, you will see no lack because He will make you lay down in green pastures.The meaning of this is that He knows your needs and gives you more than enough.

The word of God says you will not be able to cope with the mega supply of the Lord because while you are yet to finish your threshing, the grape harvest will be ready! Wow! God is saying the days of you waiting for your next pay cheque is over. God is saying you will not depend on any man but Him alone because He will humiliate the economic recessions and every financial challenge that enemy is bringing upon the earth.

We must all learn to be prudent and not spend above our means. We need to prioritise and be wise in our spending in this new year. Do not just go and buy things, ask yourself if you really need it.

Three Things we Must Engage in to Terminate Lack

1. Make faith declarations

Whenever you’re in need and don’t have enough, instead of declaring I am broke, things are hard or I am managing begin to align yourself with your supply by saying by faith “I have more than enough” “God is my supplier” “Money cometh to me Now”

“I owe no man nothing”

Faith declarations may sound foolish and unrealistic but you’re creating your supply and provoking your overflow.

2. Keep giving, do not stop

In the world when you give you decrease but in the kingdom when we give we increase. Giving is the high way of receiving divine supplies that breaks the back of lack. Many people say they do not have enough but that is not true. You do not give what don’t have, you give whatever you have to the Lord.

Luke 6:38 (NLT)

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."

3. Be a faithful Tither

We don’t give our tithes, we pay our tithes.

Malachi 3:8

“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offering”

Papa Oyedepo’s grand mother introduced him into tithing and since then he has never looked back. The tithe which is ten percent of your increase belongs to God. This year be determined not to eat your tithe.

We tithe as a commission and as your pastor I tithe to the last figure because we will thieves if we don’t tithe.

When you divert your tithes, you have diverted God’s money
When you build a house or buy anything with your tithes, its a house that is built with stolen money. The tithe is not yours, so whenever you use it, you must pay back in full and ask God for mercy.

God says when we use or divert our tithes, we’re robbers. If God sees you as a robber, how will he bless you? If you’re a robber how will you make heaven? The bible says there is a curse for those who eat their tithes.

Malachi 3:9

“Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation”

This year you will see ever increasing glory in your finances in Jesus name!!!

Prayer points

Father confirm the Abrahamic covenant of wealth in Jesus name
O Lord, I repent of every tithe I am owing, forgive me and wipe away my debts in Jesus name!
Father I receive the spirit of faith to speak faith and see my faith work in Jesus name!
O Lord baptise me with fresh grace for giving in Jesus name
Father every demonic power that wants to stand against my overflow and surplus is destroyed and terminated in Jesus name!

DAY 20

YOU WILL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD

John 11:4

When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

John 11:40

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

We’re on day 20 of our 21days fasting and prayers and God has been faithful to us. One thing is for sure concerning 2017, we shall see the glory of God and it is in an ever increasing measure.

The devil is a expert in killing, destroying and stealing (John 10:10), he kills and buries destinies, careers, ministries and marriages etc but God is an expert in undoing everything that the devil has done. Jesus came to give Us life in abundance, this is a life of no limits and extravagant grace.

When satan killed Lazarus a man that Jesus loved he thought he had succeeded in taking down the family heir but God had a better plan.

This year whatever the enemy does, his plans will be frustrated in Jesus name!

This year, let your relationship with christ be unquestionable, the sisters of Lazarus mary and martha sent a message to Jesus because they were never disconnected, they knew where he was at that time “Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick” (John 11:3).

When Jesus heard this he addressed the plan of the devil over Lazarus, which is death. He said, this sickness is not unto death but for the glory of God.

God is going to turn things around for you and you will have the last laugh

Everyday of 2017, everything that the devil does will end in the glory of God!!!

Jesus said we must believe, if we want to see the glory of God.

Do you believe? Mary the mother of Jesus said to Him that believes there shall be a performance (Luke 1:45).

Believe the word of God and you will live the word
Believe that you can’t be wasted by the enemy and you will never be wasted
Believe that God has the final say in all affairs of your Life and it is not over until you win
Believe that this year is your best year ever and you will see it

Lazarus came out of the grave after four days, this is the glory of God!

This year you can’t be buried and whatever the enemy has buried must come out and the glory of God shall be seen in Jesus name!!!

Today just like Jesus I am asking where have they buried whatever belongs to you?

I command it to come out and let the glory of God be seen in Jesus name!!!

Prayer points

Father I thank you for your word in Jesus name!
Oh Lord, I believe and I will see your glory in Jesus name!
Father just like Lazarus came out of the grave, everything that has been buried must come out from the grave in Jesus name!
Father this year, I decree and declare that I cannot be defeated and I command your glory in every situation in Jesus name!
2017, I will see the glory of God in Jesus name!

DAY 21

RECEIVE THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT

Luke 4:14 (NLT)

Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit's power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region.

Today is day 21 of our 21 days fasting. I know that you already have multiple testimonies. Many of your expectations have already been granted and God is set to do more greater things because it is your year of ever increasing Glory.

We know that the glory of God is everything that makes God, God! This includes all His attributes like self existence, self existence,honour, holiness, power, love, grace, wisdom, etc. This is why one of the hebrew words for glory, literally means heavy and weighty.

We are carriers of God’s glory and we ought to increase in the glory everyday!

As we have fasted and waited upon the Lord, we must receive the power of the spirit as a clear manifestation of the Glory of the Lord.

When God’s children begins to work in His power, they display His glory and shine forth for Him.

Why do we need power?

The church is constantly under attack
Genuine christianity is being silenced
satan is doing all things possible for you to doubt what you believe
When you say you’re a christian, the world mocks you!
Genuine miracles are doubted because there are too many fakes

But God sent me to tell someone, not anymore! After this fast in 2017, you have the power of the Spirit.

If world is a big question: You’re the answer
If world is has a problem: You’re the solution
If the world is tasteless: You’re the flavour
If the world is in darkness: You’re the Light

I dare you to begin to see yourself as a world changer, you’re empowered by God to be a blessing and not a burden.

What is the Power of the Spirit for?

1. To demonstrate the Spirit & His power

This is what I call practicals, after we have talked the theory then we need the practicals. This is the miracles, signs and wonders.

We cannot preach a gospel that is not confirmed with tangible signs and wonders, God forbid. As Jesus fasted, He returned in the power of the spirit to do miracles, healing the sick, delivering the oppressed and the bible says his fame spread abroad. He didn’t need a microphone, He didn’t need a sign board but the demonstration of the Spirit and His power announced Him.

Apostle paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4 “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power”

I prophesy that this is your testimony from today, you will demonstrate the spirit and His power in Jesus name!!!

2. For uncommon boldness

When there is power then Boldness is released.The enemy is an expert in intimidating the people of God and wanting us to go into hiding but that devil is a bastard! The bible says when Peter who denied Jesus received the Power of the Spirit, He was so bold and confidence was restored by His preaching three thousand was saved and baptised at once!!!

Oh Lord take Us to this level in Jesus name!!!

Acts 4:13,

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

3. For Supernatural Wealth

The gospel is free but it is not cheap. As I write this now to you,it has to be printed and distributed free to you but it cost us money. The printing of this fasting manual of over 40 pages is expensive but we give it free. This is why God has to bless us with supernatural wealth. Jesus sent peter to go and catch a fish that has miracle money in its mouth, may we receive miracle monies this year!!!

Deuteronomy 8:18 (NLT)

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today

When we beg we become weak
When we have surplus and we give and lend to nations we are powerful

4. For Manifestation of the wisdom of God

The wisdom of God is what Jesus had that made him to succeed in ministry for three and half years, the world is trying to recover from his teachings and the wonders. Every year the bible is still the highest sold book in the world.

Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge rightly

1 Corinthians 1:24, “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God”

Our connection with Christ through the Holy Spirit is our door to power and wisdom

When you have the power of God then you can manifest the wisdom of God!

This year I see you operating in wisdom in Jesus name!!!

5. For Judgement on Satan & the host of wickedness

When you have no power, satan and the host of wickedness will have a free day but God has empowered us to put satan where he belongs and we execute Judgement on the kingdom of darkness!

1 John 3:8

He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil

We are called to trouble satan and his kingdom
We are called to destroy satan and his kingdom

Jeremiah 51:20

“ We are God’s Battle ax, we're His weapon of war”

We cannot do this without the power of the spirit, it is the power of the spirit that enables us to brutalises the enemy.

6. To bring reverential fear for the Lord & His servants

Exodus 14:31

And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses

what is reverential fear?

it is to “stand in awe, to have a deep respect or honor for God.”
it is fear or reverence for God for He is so holy that He is totally God and is above His creation.
It will make us worship him with totally knowing that God is above all.

When there is no reverential fear, there will be no depth to your faith!

Your worship will not be deep!!

1. Oh Lord as I complete this fast I make a demand of your power in Jesus name!

2. I receive uncommon boldness this year in Jesus name

3. I receive the power to get wealth in Jesus name!

4. Oh Lord let your power bring reverential fear the the Lord and your servants in 2017

5.I refuse to be powerless in the name of Jesus, father empower me for generational impact in Jesus name!!!

DECLARING THE POWER OF THE BLOOD FOR EVER INCREASING GLORY

Revelation 12:11 (KJV)

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Hebrews 12:24 (KJV)

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Prayer points

1. I declare that I am incubated in the blood of Jesus

2. In Jesus name, my mind, soul, spirit and body is covered in the blood of Jesus

3. I receive the full package of new covenant by the blood of Jesus in Jesus name

4. This year the blood of Jesus speaks against every evil altar and evil voice against my ever increasing glory in Jesus name!

5. Oh blood of Jesus preserve me and my entire household in 2017, we will not see any disaster in Jesus name!

6. Father everything you have blessed me with that I crossed over with, I will not lose any of them, they are covered and insured by the blood of Jesus in Jesus name!!!

7. In Jesus name, I break the power of sin and iniquity in my life through the blood of Jesus

8. This year 2017, I silence every demon, voices of men and systems that wants to accuse me in Jesus name!

9. By the blood of Jesus I am exempted from every calamity that will befall mankind in 2017

10. I declare the blood of Jesus is against every arrow or spell sent against me in 2017 in Jesus name!

PRAYERS TO UPROOT EVIL PLANTINGS FOR 2017

Jeremiah 1:10 (NLT)

Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant."

Luke 17:6 (NLT)

The Lord answered, "If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,' and it would obey you!

Job 18:14 (KJV)

His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

1. Father whatever you have not planted in my life for 2017 must be uprooted in Jesus name

2. I command the roots of household wickedness to be uprooted in Jesus name

3. I cut down every tree of confusion and diversion in my home and family in Jesus name

4. Every root of generational curses is cut off and uprooted now in Jesus name

5. Let every evil agent planted in DECC GLOBAL be uprooted in Jesus name

6. Let every root of ungodliness, pride, rejection and rebellion be uprooted out of my life now in Jesus name!

7. Oh Lord whatever the enemy has sown in my mind to pollute me, to stop my flow in 2017, I command it uprooted now in Jesus name!

8. Every man or woman who is on evil assignment over my life is uprooted from 2017 in Jesus name!!!
