Psalm
92:1-4
92 It is
good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to
sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
2 To
declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,
And Your
faithfulness every night,
3 On an
instrument of ten strings,
On the
lute,
And on
the harp,
With
harmonious sound.
4 For
You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work;
I will
triumph in the works of Your hands.
When we praise God we are expressing our approval and admiration to Him.
To praise also means to glorify, to express gratitude by giving thanks.
Until your feelings and thoughts are expressed its not Praise.
When we
praise: we express our thoughts and feelings!

The first

Leah named her son Judah
Gen.
29:35
And she
conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD:
therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.
Judah which means Praise has the root word Yadah '
Extend your hands in reverence or worship'
Somebody
once said" what salt is to your meat that is what praise is to your
blessing"
A
blessing you can't praise God for is tasteless!!!
There is
only one thing God can't do for Himself, that is to praise Himself.
So
anytime you praise God you do for God what He cannot do for Himself!
Then God
will do for you what you can't do for yourself.
Anything
you can't do for yourself, demands divine or supernatural help!
Praise
Commands supernatural help!
What is
Uncommon Praise?
Uncommon
praise is praising God while you're on transition!
Uncommon Praise is Praising God in the mist of the storm!
I haven't
gotten there physically but in my spirit says I am there!
I haven't
seen the prophesy come to pass but I am expectant
I haven't
received my promise yet but I will praise Him.
Abraham
was a man that gave God uncommon Praise
Romans
4:20-22
New King
James Version (NKJV)
20 He did
not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in
faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had
promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness
Notice that He
praised God for the Promise!!!
David
understood the mystery of uncommon praise
Psalm
34:1
A Psalm
of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away,
and he departed.
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall
continually be in my mouth.
My soul
shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify
the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought
the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
They
looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
This poor
man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
He was a Captive
in the hands of the philistines, yet he began to praise God!
Uncommon praise is the praise you give in your dark hours, what I call the seasons of challenges
Hab.3:17-18
Though
the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit
be on the vines;
Though
the labor of the olive may fail,
And the
fields yield no food;
Though
the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there
be no herd in the stalls—
18 Yet I
will rejoice in the Lord,
I will
joy in the God of my salvation.
The fig tree has not blossom indicates that the seasons has refused to change. The blooming of the figs indicated spring.
The Prophet Habakkuk gives us "The worse
scenario" but says this will
not stop Him from giving God uncommon Praise!
I want to challenge you this month of August to quit complaining and just praise God!
