God is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent, what He has said He will do and make good His promises (Numbers 23:19).
There are some of us that may be disappointed already about this year but I am saying to you that it is not over yet, 2020 has not ended. It does not take God a second to change your story. Those that put their trust in God will never be put to shame in Jesus name! I exhort you to live by faith and not by sight, there is going to be a shift as we press in with this fasting & prayers.
This fast is declared to you, an Open Heavens Fast, it will usher you into the best days of your life in Jesus name!
Fasting and prayers are very potent kingdom arsenals that deliver answers speedily. Jesus made us aware that there are some things that would go except by fasting & prayers (Matthew 17:21).
When we fast, it is escalating our prayers.
When we fast, it is amplifying our prayers.
When we fast, it is adding fuel on the fire on our prayer altar, like putting petrol in fire!!!
When we fast, the flesh is subdued and the spirit takes charge.
When we fast, we literally humble ourselves before God to seek His face, focusing on Him and this pleases God!
When we fast we deny ourselves of pleasure and give God pleasure by seeking His presence!!!
This fast is not just for us to finish strong but will prepare us for the new year, if Jesus tarries!!!

DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS FAST
We are engaging in an absolute fasting. This means that we are engaging in dry fasting with no water or food during the duration of the fast.
6 am - 6pm (required standard )
6 am - 3pm (those doing energy exerting jobs/work)
6 am – 12 pm (pregnant women and breastfeeding) they can have water/tea/fruit juice.
Some people can have water during the fast, if you suffer from dehydration
Those on medications which make it impossible to fast you can abstain from meat, fish, treats like chocolate, ice cream etc throughout the fasting season.
Children are not left out on this fast
No treats in this season of fast.
Children can fast on Saturday and Sunday (All children aged 5 and above)
They can fast from 6am-12noon & 3pm depending on their strength.
They can have a cup of tea and juice only!
