Fasting is a deliberate decision to abstain from food or pleasure for the purpose of seeking the Lord and feed the spirit man. Jesus said when you fast in Mat 6:16 not if you fast, so He is saying fasting is a must for every believer. If you are a believer in this wicked and dark world, you need to keep your spirit man on fire and walk in the spirit. Everything starts from the spirit and is controlled by the spirit. If a man’s spirit is dead, then everything dies. Fasting fuels your prayers, it intensifies your prayers! A believer cannot eat 365 days without feeding their spirit and looking after their souls!
