What is the fallow ground?
This is a term that is familiar to farmers, a fallow ground is a land that is left untilled by a farmer over a period of time.
A fallow ground becomes overgrown by weeds and the ground becomes very hard.
A fallow ground can also be a ground that has never been cultivated, left untilled due to laziness, idleness or farmer’s decision. This land is allowed to waste away without producing anything.
According to Charles Finney, Fallow ground is ground which has once been tilled, but has gotten hard and now lies waste. It needs to be broken up and made soft again, before it is ready to receive seed.
