Final days of 2011

Wow! How time flies, it is just like yesterday when we entered the year 2011"The year of double Excellence" Indeed God is a faithful God, He has never failed and will never fail even when things don't go the way you want it, if you wait on Him you'll soon realise that God always has better plans for you. We should have an attitude of thanksgiving, appreciating God for his mercies, goodness and grace! Now, I have been taking a stock of my year so far and its amazing to see some things that could be done better next year, some things that will never be repeated and some things that I need to do more next year, like pray more, study more and be more discerning e.t.c. Now I want you to key into these powerful scriptures as we're in the final days of this year, God has kept the best for the last! "Better is the end of a thing that the beginning thereof" Eccl.7:8 "He crowneth the year with good things and your path drops fatness"Psalm65:11 I pray for...

Communion: The Cup of Blessing!

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? (1Cor.10:16) And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it , and break it , and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink you all of it (Matt.26:26-27) for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the LORD. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible (Lev.17:11) Communion is so powerful when taken with understanding. The bible declares that the Life of the flesh is in the blood, what this means is that we encounter the life of Christ anytime we drink the blood of Jesus. Literally we're drinking liquid life, its spiritual fuel, Zoe is released into you! Do you remember Jesus said anyone who eats of his body and dri...

Who is a Disciple?

Welcome to the month of November,2011. This month, will be great in Jesus name, amen. You will overcome all and I know that you will win all, this month. Jesus gave us a charge according to Matt.28:19"Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations" There is a need for disciples not multitudes! Who is a disciple? A disciple is a student of a doctrine, learner and follower. The greek word mathetes is what is translated as disciple. Mathetes is where we get the word martyr, someone who is willing to die for what they believe, now not only are they willingly to die for it, they live for it. Jesus asked will I find faith on earth when I return? (Luke18:8) This question is will I find disciples when I return? The word disciple comes from the word as discipline!!! you can't be a disciple if you're not disciplined. you must be able to discipline your flesh to live in the spirit. What did the early disciples learn from Jesus? They learnt how to pray Jesus taught them how to ...

Praise must always go first!!!

Praise is a master key to accessing all kingdom doors. Living a lifestyle of praise is a must in all situations or circumstance, let God be praised. Every time you praise God you will be raised to a new dimension, the devil gets mad whenever we praise God because we are doing the job he lost in heaven by his rebellion. In Judges1:1-2" Judah was asked to go first to the battle" Judah means praise, anytime Praise goes first unlimited victories are guaranteed. What is the battle you're facing, send Praise first! As you praise God for all He has done for you and He will do more. Do you know that God inhabits the praises of his saints?(Psalm22:3). Whenever you praise God, you join a worship session already in progress in heaven, that's provoking heavenly living here on earth. You can pray amiss, but can never praise amiss! Today send Judah first!

The enemy called Procrastination!

Procrastination is the thief of our precious time, he has been doing this by making us put forward what could be done today. What happens is that we never get things done. The bible makes us to understand that "there is time for everything under the sun" Eccl3:1 This means that whatever isn't done at its divine time will ultimately be divinely outdated, even though its something that has a godly appearance. Understanding the mystery of time will definitely make us make the most of each day because, yesterday is dead, today is alive, tomorrow is in the womb. Get up, lets not allow procrastination steal our dreams, do it today!!!!
