WHERE ARE THE INTERCESSORS?

Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV), And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Isaiah 63:5 (KJV), And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. We cannot overemphasize the importance of prayers in this season. Child of God, the ministry of intercession is under attack by Satan because he knows that if there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer. Satan knows that when intercessors go on their knees, they obstruct his plans and interpose God’s will. To be called an intercessor is to be called into the duty of standing in the gap for others. What does it mean to intercede? It is to stand in the gap It is to mediate It is to intervene It is to come between parties It is to plead for the mercies of God on behalf of someone It i...

Rest in the Midst of the Storm

Mark 4:38-40 , But Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. So they woke Him and said, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are perishing?” Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. “Silence! He commanded. “Be still!” And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm. “Why are you so afraid?” He asked. “Do you still have no faith? Welcome to the month of July. This month God’s word for you is that you have rest on every side. We are in the middle of a worldwide economic storm. The recent referendum in the UK has brought fears and uncertainties in the country and throughout the European Union, but as children of God, I want you to know that you are in the hand of God and whatever is in God’s hands cannot fail. You are secured in His hands. Isaiah 49:16 , See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem's walls in ruins What is a storm? It is a violent disturbance of the atmosphere with st...

Praise An Expression Of Our Satisfaction in God

Psalm 90:14 (NLT), Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. God has been our Ebenezer, and we thank Him for the mid-year fast. It is by His grace that we could wait on Him. After the mid-year fast, we need to go into a season of praise, as we welcome the second half of 2016. When praise goes up, blessings comes down Praise is the only thing that God cannot do for Himself Anytime we praise God, we do for God what He cannot do for Himself When you do for God what He cannot do, He will give you what you cannot do for yourself When we praise God, it is an expression of our satisfaction in God. What does it mean to be satisfied? It means to make someone contented It is to gratify someone to the full It is to cause someone to be pleased The psalmist says to God you satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love. God has brought contentment to your life God has brought full gratification...

DECC MID YEAR FAST 2016 "EBENEZER"

DECC MID YEAR FAST 2016 THEME: EBENEZER “Thus this far the Lord has helped us” 1 Samuel 7:11-13 11 The men of Israel rushed out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, slaughtering them along the way to a point below Beth Kar.12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”13 So the Philistines were subdued and they stopped invading Israel’s territory. Throughout Samuel’s lifetime, the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines. We thank God for seeing us till the first half of 2016. Many have died, many are sick, many are in pain, the enemy is on the speed lane doing all kinds of other activities but God has exempted us for this we are thankful. Ebenezer means " Thus this far the Lord has helped us" It means our stone / rock of help Yahweh our helper Divine assistant One of the greatest enemies to the people of Israel are the Philistines. These people...
